Procedure for Drawing & Returning of NYPS Cameras

CONTACTING
1) Contact Yia Chin or James as soon as possible to inform them when you need to draw the cameras from the darkroom.

DRAWING
1) Check Camera batteries
2) Check if CF card is in Camera
3) Check if you have the correct/ appropriate lense (Telephoto? Wide-angle? Standard?)
4) External Flash (Is it functioning? Need batteries?)
5) Take a few test shots to ensure everything's functioning well. Test the flash as well.
6) Sign out the equipment by filling in the Logbook in the Darkroom (at Level 4 near Physics lab)

* For events that last for long durations (e.g. 4-day camps), you might need to borrow battery charger, extra batt. and extra CF cards

RETURNING
1) Return all equipment to Yia Chin or James.

Canon EOS Experience Day

" EOS Experience Day
East Coast Lagoon where the Cable-Ski facilities are
16th of June (Sat).

Everyone will have the chance to get their hands on Canon's EOS range of DSLR.

There will be 3 workshops for the event, the morning, afternoon and late afternoon.Each workshop will last about 2 hours. During the workshop, besides having the chance to learn from some of the professionals, participants will have the chance to experience with our full range of EOS cameras, including our latest EOS 1D Mark III.

So get ready for a fun-filled day of exciting Cable-Ski stunts and stunning models (such as the EOS 1D mk III). Participants can bring along CF cards to capture their Canon experience."
